A lovely variety of Radish with a multicoloured crop, that is perfect for providing a great crop to eat but also to look at!  Easy to grow and perfect for adding to summer salads.

Sowing Indoors

• You can grow radishes indoors, sowing directly into a container, in which the plant will grow to harvest (the young plants don't like being transplanted).  Sow seeds into fine compost at a depth of 1cm deep and cover lightly with growing medium.  Seedlings should be thinned to 10-15cm to produce a crop.
• Radish can also be sown indoors as a microgreen, as the first crop of tender leaves are delicious, sow as above but densely and harvest as first set of true leaves appear.

Sowing Outdoors

• Radishes can be sown directly outdoors from Mid Spring until late summer.  Sow at a depth of 1cm, 2-5cm apart while leaving 15cm between rows of Radish sowing.  Cover lightly with growing medium and keep watered during dry weather.

Ongoing care and harvest

• Radishes germinate and provide a harvest quickly, make sure that plants aren't crowded by weeds and also ensure the plants don't crowd each other.
• Avoid sowing radish during the hottest months of the year when heat and drought can cause premature flowering.
